Kate Wilford

Kate Wilford is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Legal Principal for ESG and Corporate Disputes, as well as Litigation at Anglo American since February 2019. Prior to this role, Kate accrued extensive legal experience at Hogan Lovells from August 2005 to December 2018, where titles held included Counsel, Senior Associate, Associate, and Trainee Solicitor. Additionally, a stint as Legal Counsel (Secondee) in Group Litigation at Barclays lasted from August 2009 to February 2010. Educational qualifications include an Anglo American GameChangers leadership programme in Sustainability Studies from the University of Cambridge, and various degrees including a Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of the West of England, an MPhil in European Literature, and an MA in Modern & Medieval Languages, both from the University of Cambridge, with a year abroad at Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
