Luke Perrin is an experienced professional in the mining sector with a focus on gas and ventilation management. Currently serving as the Gas and Ventilation Manager at Anglo American since October 2014, Luke has held various positions including Specialist - Gas and Ventilation at the MetCoal Analytics Centre and Technical Services Superintendent at Moranbah North Mine. Prior roles at Anglo American also include Mine Planning Coordinator and Underground Gas Drainage Coordinator in both Moranbah and Grosvenor Mines. Before joining Anglo American, Luke worked at Glencore as Ventilation and Gas Drainage Coordinator and Graduate Mining Engineer at Oaky Creek No. 1 Mine. Earlier experience includes positions as an Undergraduate Engineer at Centennial Coal's Mannering and Newstan Collieries. Luke holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Mine Ventilation from UNSW, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management from the University of Southern Queensland.
