Pertti Lamberg

Pertti Lamberg is an experienced professional in the mining sector, currently serving as Sakatti Project Manager and CEO of AA Sakatti Mining Oy, a subsidiary of Anglo American, since June 2020, focusing on a significant copper-nickel-platinum group elements discovery in Sodankylä. Prior to this, Pertti Lamberg was CEO of Keliber Oy from June 2016 to June 2020, where the focus was on developing lithium-rich spodumene deposits in Central Ostrobothnia, Finland. Pertti Lamberg also held academic roles, including Professor in Geometallurgy at Luleå University of Technology from January 2011 to June 2016, and has had various positions in industry, such as Director of Plant Products and Senior Technology Adviser at Outotec. An accomplished researcher, Pertti Lamberg began a career in R&D as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Queensland and has extensive previous experience at Outokumpu Research Oy and Outokumpu Mining Services. Pertti Lamberg holds a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Turku and an M.Sc. in Geology from the University of Oulu.
