Tyler Lappin, P.Eng., is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on geotechnical and risk management in the mining sector. Currently serving as the Principal Risk Engineer for Tailings and Water at Anglo American since August 2020, Tyler has previously held key positions including Senior Project Manager/Geotechnical Engineer at Klohn Crippen Berger, where leadership was demonstrated in managing cross-functional teams for mining clients across North America. Tyler's extensive background includes roles as Geotechnical Engineering Supervisor at Imperial Oil and Project Manager/Project Engineer at Total, along with earlier experience as Project Manager/Geotechnical Engineer at Klohn Crippen Berger and Field Engineer at ConeTec Investigations.
