Wayne Pengelly

Wayne Pengelly is an experienced professional in the mining and exploration sectors, currently serving as Site Senior Executive at Anglo American since March 2021. Prior to this role, Wayne held various positions at New Hope Group from July 2010 to March 2021, including Operations Superintendent/SSE Exploration and Drilling Supervisor. Wayne began his career as a Driller at Seisdrill from September 2003 to October 2008 and continued in the same capacity at AJ Lucas from October 2008 to July 2010. Wayne is pursuing a Master of Project Management at Queensland University of Technology, expected to complete in April 2024, and holds a Diploma in Surface Operations Management from Mine Training Solutions, completed in December 2021.
