Premkumar Pillai has extensive experience in maritime operations and safety management, having joined Anglo Eastern Ship Management in February 2005. Starting as a Master Mariner, Premkumar transitioned to roles such as QHSE Superintendent, Senior QHSE Superintendent, and Assistant Operations Manager, focusing on implementing Safety Management Systems (SMS), conducting internal audits, and training ship staff on various vessels including tankers and LNG ships. Prior to this, experience included positions as Master Mariner at NYK Shipmanagement and Chief Officer at Mitsui OSK Lines, with foundational maritime training at Lal Bahadur Shastri Nautical College, where Premkumar earned an Extra Master degree.
