Ashwin Mohanlal

Ashwin Mohanlal has a strong background in project governance, management, and engineering. Ashwin started their career in 2006 as an Associate at Ninham Shand and then joined AngloGold Ashanti in 2007. At AngloGold Ashanti, they held various roles including Civil & Structural Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Senior Manager. Their most recent position at AngloGold Ashanti is Vice President: Project Governance, which they started in January 2022.

Ashwin Mohanlal completed their education at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. In 1996, they started pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, which they completed in 2000. Ashwin then went on to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the same university, which they finished in 2003. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration, which they completed in 2006.
