Farzana Lorgat

Farzana Lorgat began their work experience in 1997 as a Financial Controller at Superflex Investment. In 1998, they joined Transnet as a Manager in Forensic Audits & Special Projects until 2005. From 2005 onwards, Lorgat worked at AngloGold Ashanti, starting as a Whistleblowing Manager and progressing through various roles including Group Compliance Manager, Whistleblowing & Compliance Manager, Senior Manager Internal Audit, and currently serving as the Head of Group Risk.

Farzana Lorgat holds a Diploma in Criminal Justice and Auditing from the University of Johannesburg. Farzana also has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Additionally, they have completed a Master Business Leadership program from the same university. Farzana has obtained several certifications, including "How to Speak So People Want to Listen" from LinkedIn, "Business Risk Management" from the University of Cape Town, "Ethics Officer" from The Ethics Institute of SA, and "Forensic Examiner (CFE)" from Associated Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), USA.
