Peter Slatter

Peter Slatter is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the mining and resource sectors, currently serving as a Senior Resource Definition Geologist at AngloGold Ashanti since August 2024. Previously, Peter held multiple roles at 29Metals from May 2018 to August 2024, including Senior Mine Geologist and Project Exploration Geologist, where responsibilities encompassed managing surface drilling activities, exploration for base metals and gold, and mentoring junior geologists. Additional experience includes positions as an Exploration Geologist, Mine Geologist, Underground Geological Technician, Junior Operations Geologist, and Contract Geologist across several companies, showcasing proficiency in geological mapping, resource development, data management, and stakeholder engagement. Peter holds a Bachelor's Degree and an Honours Degree in Geology from Federation University Australia.
