Marc Caruso

CEO & Co-Founder at Angry Mob Music

Marc – CEO and Co-Founder – oversees all facets of Angry Mob Music, a truly independent music publishing company. Under his leadership, Angry Mob has grown since 2009 into a diversified music company with successful operations in publishing, music rights management, and trailer music production; and has led direct signings ranging from major label artists and accomplished songwriters to emerging producers and composers.

Marc is Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Independent Music Publishers and serves on its National Executive Committee. He is also a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, The Recording Academy, The Motion Picture Editors Guild, The Society of Composers & Lyricists, and represents Angry Mob’s writer and publisher interests in the National Music Publishers Association as a member of the NMPA Team 100.

Prior to Angry Mob, Marc was a composer, producer, and Emmy-nominated music editor who not only collaborated with numerous Oscar and Emmy-winning composers and filmmakers, but whose original composition work has been featured on most major broadcast and cable networks. Marc started his music editorial career working with Hans Zimmer, and it is there that he met Sean Harrison with whom he would eventually form Angry Mob Music. It was also where Marc learned that a successful music career is achievable only when both the art and business of music are given equal forethought and attention.

Marc plays synths in an 80’s cover band and can debone a whole chicken in under a minute.
