Mark Rusch CPA, CA(SA) has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Mark started their career at KPMG in 2014 as a Supervisor, where they gained exposure to a range of industries and major clients. Mark then worked their way up to Senior Associate, Manager, and eventually Senior Manager. During their time at KPMG, they were responsible for conducting technical audits, managing audit teams, and resolving complex issues. In 2023, Mark joined Advancion Corporation as the Director of Financial Reporting and Compliance.
Mark Rusch CPA, CA(SA) completed their high school education at St. Stithians Boys' College from 2004 to 2008. Mark then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cape Town, which they completed from 2009 to 2012. In 2013, Mark obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town, specializing in Financial Accounting, Tax, Governance and Audit, and Management Accounting. Mark furthered their professional qualifications by completing the Initial Test of Competence (Board 1) and the Assessment of Professional Competence (Board 2) from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
