Jussi Karlgren is a Principal AI Scientist at Silo AI since April 2023 and holds multiple prominent positions including Member of the Board of Directors at Aniara and Gavagai, and Work Package Lead at DeployAI EU. With a long history at the University of Helsinki as a Docent since October 2006 and a board member at the Institute for Analytical Sociology since January 2021, Jussi has further demonstrated expertise as a Scientific Advisor for Superintelligence Computing Systems. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Research Scientist at Spotify, with a focus on speech retrieval and internationalization, and as an Adjunct Professor at KTH. Jussi’s academic background is rich with advanced degrees in Computational Linguistics and related fields from Stockholm University, complemented by leadership training from Novare Leadership and military training from the Swedish Armed Forces Language School.
