Anicka Yi Studio is the creative practice of artist Anicka Yi, whose work reimagines the relationship between biology, technology, and the senses. Based in New York, the studio brings together scientists, engineers, perfumers, and fabricators to produce installations and sculptures from living materials—bacteria, fungi, AI-powered machines—that challenge how we define life itself. A Hugo Boss Prize laureate, Yi has realized major commissions at the Tate Modern, Guggenheim, Pirelli HangarBicocca, and UCCA Beijing. The studio is represented by Gladstone Gallery and Esther Schipper.
