Isabella R. Lara is an experienced professional in animal care and community service, currently serving as the New Hope Coordinator and Adoption Counselor at Animal Care Centers of NYC since September 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Captain Volunteer at Mt. Vernon Animal Shelter and as a Seasonal Educator at lululemon. Additionally, Isabella has contributed to the community as a Karma Yogi at YogaSpark and as a Judicial Intern at New York State Supreme Court, specializing in Narcotics Court. Isabella began their career with internships, including positions with Bob Cohen for New York State Senate and Paris & Chaikin, PLLC, and volunteering in the Orthopedic Unit at White Plains Hospital. Isabella holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Government, as well as English Literature, from the University of Colorado Boulder.
