Michelle Bourgeois

Michelle Bourgeois is a knowledgeable veterinary technician assistant currently employed at the Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota since March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as an Aquatic Invasive Species Specialist with Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa, where extensive fieldwork and data analysis were conducted. At the University of Minnesota, Michelle held positions as an Animal Care Expert and Research Assistant, managing animal health assessments and contributing to research on invasive carp. Additionally, Michelle worked as an Art Instructor for Young Rembrandts Franchise, fostering creativity in students, and served as the Wildlife Nursery Assistant Manager at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota, where training and technical care for various animal patients were essential. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from the University of Minnesota.
