Animal Friends
Emma Suchma is a dedicated Veterinary Technician with extensive experience at Animal Friends since November 2019, following an externship with the organization in the summer of 2019. Emma completed an Associate's degree in Specialized Technology at Pittsburgh Career Institute from 2018 to 2019 and holds a High School Diploma from Shaler Area High School, awarded in 2017. Previous experience includes working as a Food Server at Yetter's Candy from August 2017 to January 2020, where Emma developed excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, handled cash transactions, and performed inventory tasks. Emma's veterinary training includes patient monitoring under anesthesia, medication administration, and conducting physical exams and blood draws.
