Katherine Harbinson

Katherine Harbinson currently serves as the Annual Giving Manager and Gift Officer at Animal Humane Society, having joined in August 2023. Previously, Katherine held various roles at Planned Parenthood Great Plains from March 2021 to June 2023, including Grant Writer and Compliance Assistant, as well as Data Entry Clerk. Katherine's experience also includes working as an Assessment Clerk at Springstone, Inc. and an Events and Development Intern at Planned Parenthood Great Plains. Earlier career positions include Operations Support Specialist and Customer Support Specialist at BASYS Processing Inc., where management of over 12,000 merchant accounts was a key responsibility. Additionally, Katherine contributed to the University of Missouri-Columbia as International Programming Co-Chair and Mend the Gap Coordinator while also gaining experience in fundraising and event planning through various internships and leadership roles. Katherine earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and English from the University of Missouri-Columbia and holds a Paralegal Certificate from Johnson County Community College.
