Ali Rellinger

Ali began volunteering with ARF in 2008 cleaning kennels and helping at adoption events at Petsmart. When the Rangeline facility opened, Ali took the opportunity to get more involved with ARF and became a shift leader as well as a leader of the newly formed Behavior and Evaluations team. In 2012, Ali joined ARF's Board of Directors. She also served as Secretary from 2014- 2015 and she's been elected Vice President in 2015 and president in 2016. Ali currently teaches high school biology at the Alabama School of Math and Science and is finishing her Ph.D. in Marine Sciences at the University of South Alabama/Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Ali lives with her husband, two dogs (Parker and Violet), 5 pet turtles and a constant rotation of ARF foster dogs.
