Carly Pomeroy

Carly Pomeroy is a Field Trials Coordinator at AnimalBiome since April 2022, responsible for planning and organizing research studies with up to 200 participants, managing participant communications, study supplies, and data analysis. Prior to this role, Carly worked as a Laboratory Technician, performing PCR and DNA Sequencing using Next-Generation Sequencing and optimizing workflows. Experience includes serving as a Lab Operator II at Emerald Cloud Lab, executing protocols involving PCR, cross flow filtration, HPLC, and mass spectrometry. Earlier positions include lifeguarding at UCLA Recreation and Burlingame Aquatic Club, a Marketing Intern at Hint Inc., and a Research Lab Assistant at UCLA's Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics. Carly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UCLA and graduated from Half Moon Bay High School in 2017.
