Daan R.

Daan R. is a Laboratory Technician currently employed at AnimalBiome since March 2022, with prior experience at Anresco Laboratories from August 2020 to January 2022. Daan's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earned between 2016 and 2020. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz from March 2018 to March 2020, Daan contributed to research on microfossils in the Ravelo Ocean Science lab, engaging in tasks such as sediment sample preparation and isotopic analysis. Daan has also held roles as a Cal Teach Intensive Intern at UCSC in August 2018 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on innate immunity research. Additionally, Daan was an Assistant Swimming Instructor for the City of Berkeley in July and August 2014.
