Thanh Nguyen

Thanh Nguyen is a dedicated animal welfare professional with extensive experience in the field. Since August 2021, Thanh has served as the Lead Farm Animal Coordinator for the Asia for Animals Coalition, focusing on uniting and supporting NGOs in the farm animal welfare movement across Asia and organizing the Asia Farm Animal Day event. Additionally, Thanh has been with Animals Asia since April 2010, initially as an Animal Welfare Officer and currently as the Animal Welfare Department Manager, overseeing public education initiatives and campaigns aimed at ending the exploitation of animals. Thanh also has experience as a Senior English Translator, contributing to the Vietnam Bear Rescue Centre. Educationally, Thanh holds a Master of Science in International Animal Welfare, Ethics, and Law from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Arts from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
