Neil Cowie

Neil Cowie has extensive work experience, starting with their current role as Director at Kings Plant Barn. Prior to this, they worked as Chief Executive Officer at Animates Vetcare NZ and solarZero. Neil also served as a Director at Cooperative Business New Zealand. Before that, Neil held executive positions at Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited and Pumpkin Patch. Neil began their career as the Regional General Manager at BIG W. Neil has a diverse background in executive leadership roles across various industries.

Neil Cowie completed a residency program in the field of study of Retail Strategy at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2017. In 2013, they attended the University of Auckland for the Global Executive Leadership Programme, focusing on International Business. Additionally, in 2010, they pursued a degree in Strategic Planning and Management in Retail at Monash University. Their earliest education in Retail Management was obtained from the University of Johannesburg in 1987. Neil Cowie is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Institute of Directors in New Zealand.
