Simon Hamacher

Simon Hamacher started their work experience as a Student Assistant at Tilburg University Department "Organization and Strategy" in 2009. Simon then worked as a Research Assistant at the same department from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Social Impact Facilitator at MakeSense. In 2012, they had an internship at Google as an Industry Analyst Intern, where they built analysis tools and conducted large-scale research projects. From 2014 to 2016, Simon worked as an Associate Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. In 2016, they co-founded Slurp Ramen Joint and worked there until 2018. From 2018 to 2019, Simon worked as a Co-Founder and Researcher at Informal. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder and CEO of anna, a company that built AI-enabled HR tech for restaurants. Simon raised 1 million USD for anna, hired and managed a team of 10 people, and closed more than 150 customers. In 2022, Simon worked as a Web3 Freelancer and Explorer, contributing to several DAOs and web3 communities and working with startups/companies entering web3. Finally, in 2023, Simon joined Animoca Brands as a Senior Project Manager.

From 1998 to 2006, Simon Hamacher attended Max-Ernst-Gymasium, where they obtained their Abitur.

In 2007, Hamacher enrolled in Tilburg University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in International Business. Simon completed their undergraduate studies in 2010.

In 2010, Hamacher participated in a Spring Exchange program at Università Bocconi, studying in an unspecified field of study.
