Chris Oswald-Barnes has extensive work experience in the field of operations and supply chain management. Chris started their career in 1991 at Wincanton, where they worked as a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager. In this role, they analyzed and recommended improvements for contract operations, provided transport consultancy projects, and tendered proposals for new business. Chris joined Bidvest Foodservice in 2000 as the Head of Supply Chain Operations, where they oversaw the company's supply chain operations. In 2004, they moved to Associated British Foods / AB Agri as the Head of Logistics Strategy, a position they held for the next ten years. In 2014, Chris joined Anitox as the Vice President of Global Operations, a role in which they currently serve.

Chris Oswald-Barnes holds a PhD degree in Business/Commerce, General, which was obtained from the London Business School between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management at the Cranfield School of Management from 2007 to 2009. Furthermore, they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Law with a focus on International Business, Tax and Trade from the University of Exeter between 1985 and 1989.
