Kristinn Aspelund

Kristinn Aspelund is the CEO & Co-Founder of Ankeri since December 2016. Currently, Kristinn also serves as a Board Member at Vísindagarðar HÍ // UI Science Park. Previously, Kristinn was a Board Member at Federation of Icelandic Startup Companies from January 2017 to March 2023. With extensive experience, Kristinn was the Director of Business Development and later Sales and Marketing Director at Marorka before co-founding the company in 2002. Kristinn also worked as a Research Engineer at VSO Consulting and as an Engineer at Olíuverzlun Íslands hf. Kristinn holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.Sc. in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Háskóli Íslands.
