Greg Poland

Greg Poland has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Greg is currently working as a Senior Director of Strategy and Performance at Ankura since January 2020. Greg'sprevious role was as a Co-founder and COO of Smarter Living Homes, where they focused on designing and building sustainable and connected homes.

Prior to that, from 2015 to 2019, Greg worked at HealthStream as a Solution Leader in Learning & Talent Management and as a Senior Product Manager in Learning and Development. Greg also gained experience at 360 View CRM as a Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst, where they worked on implementing incentive plans for financial institutions.

Additionally, Greg was the co-founder and VP of Product Development at Cardagin Networks, where they oversaw product strategy, management, and design. Greg also had experience as a Business Consultant at BT Global Services, working on designing business solutions and advising senior executives on strategic initiatives.

Earlier in their career, Greg worked as a Practice Manager at SolutionsDevelopers, spearheading the growth of new SharePoint consulting practice. Greg also served as a Sales Engineer at Blackboard Inc, providing advisory services and solutions in the education sector.

Greg'searly experience includes working as a Senior Consultant at Oleen Healthcare Information Management and as a Programmer/Analyst at DAOU - Sentient. Throughout their career, Greg has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and expertise in technology-driven solutions.

Greg Poland earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics and Math from Frostburg State University, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Greg later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including Certified Agile Leadership Essentials (CAL-E), Certified Agile Leadership for Orgs (CAL-O), Certified Agile Leadership for Teams (CAL-T), Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner, Applying Analytics to Your Learning Program, Certified ScrumMaster, and Project Management Professional (PMP) in different years.
