Anthony Garofano has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Anthony started their career at Temple University as a Researcher in the Anthropology Department. Anthony then worked as a Laboratory Assistant in the Social Neuroscience Lab at Temple University. Later, they joined Editorial Projects in Education as a Research Assistant. Anthony also worked as a Faculty Assistant at American University, where they supported a professor and conducted various tasks such as event planning, data analysis, and editing.
In 2006, Anthony joined Quality Information Partners, Inc. (QIP) as a Publications Team Lead. In this role, they supported several initiatives related to education statistics and data systems, serving as a Publication & Resource Development Manager. Anthony also worked on projects like Common Education Data Standards (CEDS) and the National Forum on Education Statistics.
Anthony then worked at Mizuni, Inc. as a Writer on a contract basis. Anthony also served as a Principal, Designer, and Writer at Weave Media.
Since 2012, Anthony has been working as a Chief Creative Officer at AnLar. Anthony manages and sets standards for all print and web-based publications, graphic and web design, writing, and copyediting. Anthony also develops the verbal and visual style of client work and supports various offices and programs of the company. Additionally, Anthony worked as an RSN Expert at Reform Support Network from 2012 to 2015.
Anthony Garofano received their BA degree in Anthropology & Psychology from Temple University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Anthony then pursued higher education at the American University School of Public Affairs, where they earned an MPP degree in Public Policy from 2005 to 2007.
