Jean-Luc Grosjean

Jean-Luc Grosjean is an experienced transit professional currently serving as an Assistant Transit Planner at the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) since July 2021, after previously interning at the same organization in 2019. Jean-Luc's expertise includes conducting research on transportation best practices, proposing safety-focused intersection redesigns, and facilitating community meetings to enhance planning processes. Prior experience includes roles as a Brand Ambassador at MoGo Detroit Bike Share and a Mobility Intern with the City of Detroit Planning and Development Department, where Jean-Luc contributed to various transportation initiatives and data collection efforts. Early experience as a Field Intern with Freshwater Transit involved a comprehensive assessment of pedestrian bridges, underscoring a commitment to community connectivity. Jean-Luc graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Wayne State University in 2017.
