Abigail Thompson

Abigail Thompson is an experienced professional in the field of psychology and mental health, currently serving as Trials Manager for Education for Wellbeing at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families since February 2019. This role involves overseeing England's largest research trial focused on school-based mental health interventions, commissioned by the Department for Education. Previous positions include Module Leader and Teaching Assistant at the Institute of Psychiatry, as well as a PhD Student at both the Institute of Psychiatry and UCL. Prior experience also includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate role at the Developmental Change and Plasticity Lab and Research Network Coordinator at Autistica. Abigail holds a Master of Science in Neuroscience from King's College London and a First Class Psychology BSc from The University of Manchester.
