Slavi Samardzija

CEO, Global at Annalect

Slavi Samardzija is the current CEO of Global at Annalect. Slavi has previous experience as the Chief Analytics Officer, Customer Insights for Wunderman and KBM Group from April 2010 to June 2014. There, they led and managed Customer Insights capabilities globally as well as directed the delivery of analytics services across the integrated worldwide team of 500+ analysts. Slavi also created processes to align and share resources globally, and developed and commercialized innovation.

From February 2000 to May 2010, Samardzija was the Senior Vice President, Insights and Optimization for Wunderman, Y&R Brands, WPP. In this role, they provided vision for the use of data-driven insights in communications planning and development as well as performance optimization. Slavi also provided clients with innovative solutions in the area of Digital Analytics and Site Optimization, Integrated Search Planning, Social Media Mining, Speech Analytics, Media Mix, and Advanced Statistical Analysis.

Prior to that, Samardzija worked as a Marketing Analyst for Principal Connection from May 1997 to February 2000.

Slavi Samardzija graduated with a BSBA in Marketing and Finance from Drake University.
