Guven Turgut

Guven Turgut is a highly experienced Sr. Computer Scientist at Annapolis Micro Systems since June 2014, specializing in the development of software drivers and APIs for custom high-performance boards and FPGA interfaces on embedded Linux. Prior to this role, Turgut worked as a Sr. Design Engineer at Meteksan Savunma, focusing on fiberoptic underwater sonar sensor embedded systems using Xilinx Zynq, and developed PC-based data capture and analysis software with a Java GUI. As an Embedded Software Engineer at TAI, Turgut contributed to avionics upgrades for S70/Black Hawk Helicopters, including porting software from VxWorks. Turgut's tenure at Xerox Corporation involved designing and implementing real-time embedded software systems for Linux and VxWorks, while early career work at Nortel Networks included testing central office equipment for NEBS certification. Turgut holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
