Alexa Landrus

Alexa Landrus, PhD, is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in academia, currently serving as a Full Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland University College since January 2012. Landrus has taught various courses, including Advanced Research Writing and Advanced Business Writing, while also mentoring new adjunct faculty. Additionally, Landrus holds adjunct professor positions at Montgomery College, Anne Arundel Community College, and several other institutions, contributing to a wide range of English and writing courses. Previous professional experience includes a contract paralegal role at Special Counsel and editorial board membership at the University of Maryland. Landrus earned a PhD in Post-Secondary Adult Education from Capella University and holds both an MA and BA in English from Washington College and Hollins University, respectively.
