Andrew Friend

Andrew Friend, LCSW-C, is an experienced individual and family therapist currently working at Thrive Behavioral Health since November 2016. In addition to this role, Andrew serves as a professor of social work and addictions counseling at Anne Arundel Community College. Andrew began the journey in social work as a social work intern from September 2014 to May 2016, having earned a Master's Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work. Additionally, Andrew holds an Associate's Degree in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from Anne Arundel Community College and a BA in Psychology and Environmental Science from the University of Denver.
