Angelo Thalassinidis

Angelo Thalassinidis currently serves as the Assistant Dean of the School of Science, Technology, and Education at Anne Arundel Community College, overseeing the Computer Technologies, Architecture, and Engineering departments since July 2019. Previously, Angelo was the Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Information Systems and Technology at South University, where responsibilities included developing the strategic direction and managing various academic programs across twelve campuses from June 2011 to July 2019. Angelo co-founded European Real Estate Data Inc. and served as CEO-Managing Director from 2005 to January 2012, driving the company to a market-leading position. Earlier experiences include directing national practice at Harvard Business Online, managing operations for MCI Systemhouse, leading design teams at Computer Horizons, and managing emerging technologies at AT&T GIS. Angelo holds a Ph.D. in Information Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, an MSc in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of La Verne.
