Laura Pasquini currently serves as the Visual Arts Program Navigator at Anne Arundel Community College since January 2022. Previously, Laura worked as a Museum Educator for the Art Around the Corner program at the National Gallery of Art from January 2019 to September 2020. Laura's experience includes serving as the Director of Community, Youth and Family Programs, as well as Director of Community Programs and Coordinator of School and Educator Programs at The Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design from March 2000 to July 2010. An internship at The Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice occurred in 1999. Laura began a career in art education through a lead outreach internship at The Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture at UMBC from March 1996 to June 1997. Laura holds a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Museum and Communities from the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University and a BA in Art History and Theory from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Additionally, Laura studied at the Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence, Italy during 1996-1997.
