Mary Austin

Mary Austin has over 25 years of experience in the education sector, currently serving as the District Coordinator for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme at Anne Arundel County Public Schools since August 2006. In this role, Mary has played a key part in developing and implementing a district-wide vision for the IB continuum, ensuring access for all students from Pre-K to 12th grade. Previously, Mary served as the International Baccalaureate Programme Coordinator at Montgomery County Public Schools and an International Educator at Fulbright Center Finland. Earlier experience includes working as a Diversity Trainer at Baltimore County Public Schools. Mary holds a Master of Education in International/Global Studies from the University of Maryland.
