Fran Lorden

Physician Assistant at Anne Arundel Dermatology

Fran Lorden joined Maryland Laser, Skin and Vein Institute in 2007 and underwent lengthy and thorough training under the dermatologists, as well as through the laser partners in the industry.

Fran Lorden, PA-C, completed her undergraduate studies at Bates College in Lewiston, ME, in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She earned her Physician Assistant degree from Essex Community College in 1998, and after passing her boards began working at Franklin Square Hospital Center, treating inpatient medical and surgical patients. After two years, she went to Mercy Medical Center, where she worked with breast and plastic surgeons for seven years.

Fran has gained expertise and experience in utilizing the many laser, light, and various energy sources in the office for such issues as pigmentation, hair removal, tattoo removal, acne therapy, skin tightening, noninvasive bodysculpting, and skin resurfacing.

She also sees both adult and pediatric patients for general dermatologic issues, such as acne, warts, rashes, keratoses, and eczema, as well as performs surgical procedures including biopsies and excisions.

She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is licensed by the Maryland State Board of Physicians. She is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
