Kareem Anabtawi

Kareem Anabtawi currently serves as the Chief of Staff to the Commercial Attaché at the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC, and previously held the role of Advisor in the same office. As a co-founder and Chief Investment Officer at Annex Investments, Kareem focuses on early-stage venture investing in the MENA region, contributing to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. Additionally, Kareem is a co-founder of Epic Padel Inc. and The Nice Guy Dubai, and serves as an Advisor at Nowais Capital and a Mentor at the Abu Dhabi SME Hub. Kareem's prior experience includes positions at High Water Venture Partners as VP of Investor Relations, and various internships at Emirates Investment Bank and Deloitte. Kareem obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Kogod School of Business at the American University in 2018.
