AJ Acker

AJ Acker has over 25 years of experience in regulatory affairs, with a focus on drug development and global regulatory strategy. Currently, AJ serves as the Senior Vice President of Regulatory, Quality & Pharmacovigilance at Annexon Biosciences, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, AJ worked at Zogenix, Inc. from 2015 to 2022, first as the Vice President and then as the Senior Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs. During their time at Zogenix, AJ played a crucial role in successfully filing and obtaining approvals for new drug applications in the rare disease space. From 2013 to 2015, AJ worked as the Executive Director of Global Regulatory and Clinical Affairs at Bioskin Inc., providing regulatory guidance to pharmaceutical companies in various therapeutic areas. AJ also served as the Director and Head of Regulatory Affairs at Santen Inc. from 2010 to 2013, leading regulatory efforts for multiple development projects and engaging with regulatory authorities worldwide. Prior to that, AJ worked in regulatory roles at BioMarin, Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences, Inc., Dey LP, and AVI Biopharma.
