Elaine Murray McCracken M.D.

Elaine Murray McCracken MD currently serves as the Vice President of Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety at Annexon Biosciences, beginning in September 2023. Prior to this role, Elaine was Vice President and Head of Pharmacovigilance and Epidemiology at Allogene Therapeutics, where leadership involved building a team for safety risk mitigation related to allogenic CAR T therapies. Elaine's extensive experience at Genentech as Senior Group Medical Director and various roles in safety strategy and management covered significant aspects of clinical safety within oncology early development for multiple drug candidates. Elaine's career also includes critical care and pulmonary medicine roles at Kaiser Permanente, managing complex respiratory conditions. Elaine earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Galway.
