Jeannette Osterloh, PhD, PMP has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jeannette has worked at Annexon Biosciences since 2021, starting as an Associate Director and later being promoted to Director of Portfolio Strategy & Operations. In these roles, they have managed and driven cross-functional activities to support the development of multiple clinical assets, including Ph0 - Ph2 programs. Jeannette has worked closely with the Global Project Team Lead (GPTL) to lead and facilitate Core teams, establish and execute program strategies, integrate cross-functional input, and ensure program advancement on time and on budget. Jeannette also develops and maintains integrated product development and lifecycle plans, identifies critical milestones, risks, and resource constraints, and collaborates with teams to develop appropriate solutions. Jeannette creates and maintains project documentation including project plans, timelines, trackers, and communications.
Prior to working at Annexon Biosciences, Jeannette worked at FibroGen, Inc. as an Associate Director of Early Portfolio Operations from 2021 to 2021. At FibroGen, they contributed to the management and operations of the company's early-stage portfolio.
From 2013 to 2021, Jeannette worked at Gladstone Institutes in various roles. Jeannette served as a Corporate Liaison and Ventures Manager, where they provided strategic research operations support to emerging spin-out companies. Jeannette authored strategic reports on corporate governance structure, business and development plans, market analyses, due diligence preparation, license negotiations, and financial projections. Additionally, Jeannette worked as a Project Coordinator, Corporate Liaison and Ventures, managing various projects. Jeannette also worked as an AP Giannini Postdoctoral Scholar, managing the Neuro-Library of Integrated Network-based Cellular Signatures (NeuroLINCS) U54 project and authoring a successful fellowship application.
In terms of their academic experience, Jeannette worked as a Lecturer at California State University, East Bay in 2014 and as an Adjunct Faculty at Worcester State University from 2010 to 2012. Jeannette also served as a Graduate Student at UMass Medical School from 2007 to 2013, where they made significant contributions to research on axon degeneration and introduced a new model organism to the lab. Before that, they gained research experience as a Summer Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2006 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo from 2005 to 2006.
Jeannette Osterloh, PhD, PMP, completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Sciences from UMass Chan Medical School from 2007 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
In addition to their educational background, they hold several certifications. Jeannette obtained the "Accelerating Product Development: Advanced Project Planning Strategies" certification from Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development in September 2021. In June 2019, they completed the "VC University - NVCA Certificate Course" offered by Berkeley Law Executive Education. Prior to that, in July 2018, they obtained the "Scrum Fundamentals Certification" from VMEdu Inc. Jeannette also completed the "Leadership Excellence Course and Executive Coaching" from Academy Leadership in March 2018. Furthermore, they are a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in July 2017.
