Lori Taylor

Lori Taylor has a comprehensive work experience spanning several positions and companies. Lori currently holds the role of Senior Vice President, Portfolio Strategy and Operations at Annexon Biosciences since June 2021, after serving as Vice President, Global Program Leader from July 2018 to June 2021.

Prior to Annexon Biosciences, Lori Taylor worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from June 2012 to April 2018. At Vertex Pharmaceuticals, they held the position of Vice President Global Marketing/Vice President Business Development. In this role, they collaborated across multiple functions, set portfolio strategy, and shaped the long-range plan for the company. Lori was also responsible for making go/no-go decisions, evaluating go-to-market models, defining target product profiles, establishing pricing assumptions, and leading and motivating teams.

Before Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Lori Taylor worked at Elan Pharmaceuticals from December 2006 to June 2012. Lori held various leadership positions, including Vice President, Project Team Leader, Tysabri/VP, Global Medical Affairs/VP, Tysabri Business. During their time at Elan Pharmaceuticals, they spearheaded the growth of Tysabri, expanded its approval for Crohn's disease, and managed the risk of PML to drive growth in MS. Lori also played a key role in implementing a personalized medicine approach to manage PML risk and collaborated with regulatory agencies.

Lori Taylor's work experience also includes a position at Abbott Laboratories from 2000 to 2006. Lori held the role of Marketing Director, Humira Gastroenterology/Director, Global Commercial Development. Lori'sresponsibilities included leading marketing efforts for Humira for inflammatory bowel disease and evaluating new indication opportunities for Humira. Lori also shaped clinical development plans and strategies.

Prior to Abbott Laboratories, Lori Taylor worked as a Director at Kendall Strategies from 1998 to 2000.

Lori Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University. Lori then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Neuroscience from the same university. Following their Ph.D., Lori Taylor became a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University.
