Maya Shamir

Maya Shamir, CPA, has a diverse work experience in accounting and assurance. Maya currently serves as a Senior Manager, Accounting at Annexon Biosciences since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager, Accounting at Cortexyme, Inc. from April 2020 to April 2022. Maya also has experience at EY, where they worked as an Assurance Senior from September 2016 to April 2020. Maya started their career as an Audit Intern at EY in June 2015. In addition, Maya has contributed to the University of San Francisco as a Teaching Assistant in Financial Management from January 2016 to May 2016.

Maya Shamir, CPA, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of San Francisco between 2014 and 2016. Maya further acquired certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy.
