Ramy Wafa

Ramy Wafa currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Annota8 since August 2025, following a tenure as Senior Software Engineer at Recharge.com from April 2021 to July 2025 and at YoungCapital from December 2019 to April 2021, where Ramy contributed to developing web applications using Ruby on Rails. Prior experience includes a role at Affectiva from December 2016 to January 2020, focusing on projects related to the market research portal, including building data pipelines for machine learning. Ramy's career began at Robusta Studio as a Ruby on Rails developer from April 2013 to December 2016, and previous experience includes working as a software engineer at the German University in Cairo from August 2010 to September 2013. Ramy holds a Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the German University in Cairo, as well as a Computer Vision nano degree from Udacity.
