Jessica Derleth is an accomplished professional in the field of historical research and production editing, currently serving as a Production Editor at Annual Reviews since December 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Historical Consultant for HBO, where Jessica contributed to the creation of historically accurate scripts by authoring reports and collaborating with technical advisors. As an Oral History Researcher at The HistoryMakers, Jessica wrote comprehensive reports and provided editorial feedback on various publications. Jessica has also held academic roles, including Instructor and Teaching Assistant at Binghamton University, as well as Managing Editor for the Journal of Women's History, where responsibilities included copyediting peer-reviewed articles. Educationally, Jessica holds a PhD in American History from Binghamton University, an MA from Washington State University, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon.
