Laura Niven is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academic editing, research, and teaching. Currently serving as a Production Editor at Annual Reviews since December 2015, Laura oversees the publication of scholarly articles and manages multiple workflows. Previous roles include contract academic editor for Cactus Communications and associated scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, where Laura published numerous academic articles and supervised doctoral students. A versatile academic, Laura has also taught at various institutions and has a robust educational background, including a Ph.D. in Archaeology from the University of Tübingen and several certificates in grant writing and digital marketing.
