Alejandra Frasch

Alejandra Frasch is a highly experienced scientist currently working at Anocca AB since August 2020, with a prior role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Karolinska Institutet from December 2014 to February 2019, where research focused on Plasmodium falciparum and potential drug targets for pregnancy-associated malaria. Alejandra also has a solid teaching background, having instructed medical students in parasitology, protein biochemistry, and enzymology at various universities, including Universidad Nacional de San Martín and University of Buenos Aires. With a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Universidad Nacional de San Martín, Alejandra's early research involved characterizing potential drug targets in Trypanosoma brucei and experience as a biomedical scientist in multiple laboratories further highlights extensive expertise in clinical biochemistry and laboratory management.
