Anette Brass has been in the field of scientific research since 1996. Anette began their career as a CTA at The Dow Chemical Company, where they worked in the R&D Department with epoxy resins. Her main focus was to evaluate methods for recycling of byproducts from the epoxy resin manufacturing. In 2004, Anette began their PhD studies at the University of Hamburg. In 2009 they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Karolinska Institutet, where they were involved in several projects investigating the HCV-specific immune response in patients chronically infected with HCV by flow cytometry and ELISpot. Her main project focused on developing a therapeutic vaccine for the treatment of chronic infection with HBV using a transgenic mouse model. In 2014, Anette joined Anocca AB, where they held various roles, including Head of Process Development, Senior Scientist - Head of Quality Control and Clinical Investigation, Scientist - Head of Quality Control, and Researcher - Clinical Investigation.
Anette Brass completed their Diploma in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Hamburg between 1998 and 2003.
