Chrysoula Kokotidou has a diverse range of work experience. Chrysoula is currently working as a Senior R&D Scientist at Anodyne Nanotech, Inc since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) from March 2020 to November 2021. In 2020, they also completed a Mini Diploma in Management at IST College.
In terms of research experience, Chrysoula worked as a Visiting Researcher at the National Center for Biotechnology-CSIC in Madrid, Spain in 2015 and 2014 for short durations. Chrysoula also worked as a Visiting Researcher at Texas A&M University in 2017, where they focused on the fabrication of novel peptide biomaterials for carbon dioxide and cesium capture. Additionally, they gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the Materials Science and Technology Department of the University of Crete from 2013 to 2017. To begin their career, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH)- Chemistry Department from 2012 to 2013.
Chrysoula Kokotidou has an extensive educational background in the field of science. Chrysoula obtained a PhD degree in Materials Science and Technology with a focus on Biomaterials from the University of Crete, which they completed between 2013 and 2019. Prior to their PhD, they pursued a Master's degree in the Department of Chemistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 2011 to 2013, specializing in Biochemistry. Chrysoula'sacademic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, also from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), which they earned between 2006 and 2011.
In addition to their formal education, Chrysoula Kokotidou has also obtained several certifications. Chrysoula holds a Certificate of First Aid and Basic Life Support training from RESCUE TRAINING INTERNATIONAL. Chrysoula is also a Certified Economic Service Employee (CESE), having completed training on a software package for Accounting and Salary requirements at Aristotle Certification Training & Assessment. Moreover, they possess an International Diploma in IT Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, which they earned from the University of Cambridge. Lastly, they have received training in Laboratory Safety from the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IMBB). This combination of academic qualifications and additional certifications indicates their diverse skill set and commitment to continuous learning.
