William Brown has a diverse work experience in engineering and research roles. William currently works at Anodyne Nanotech, Inc as a Product Design Engineer, where they started in August 2022 and has since transitioned into a role as an Engineer. Prior to this, William was a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2020 to December 2021. William also worked at Berkeley Lab as a Post Baccalaureate Fellow from August 2019 to July 2020, and as a Student Assistant from June 2014 to August 2019. In addition, William gained research experience at Union College as a Student Researcher from January 2018 to June 2019, where they developed protocols for neuromodulation and performed surgical preps for crayfish neurobiology studies. William also organized and conducted technical training for new laboratory members.
William Brown has an education history that spans multiple institutions and fields of study. William began their education at The Athenian School, where they completed high school from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Union College from 2014 to 2019. Most recently, they attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2020 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering. In addition to their degrees, they also hold a certification in Master of Science from Carnegie Mellon University, which was obtained in December 2021.
